Vaginal, anal or oral sex.
Infected from mother to baby during pregnancy.
SYMPTOMS(1-3 WEEKS AFTER EXPOSURE)
IN WOMEN
Abnormal vaginal discharge.
Burning sensation when urinating.
IN MEN
Discharge from the penis.
Burning sensation when urinating.
Burning and itching around the penis opening.
Pain and swelling in testicles(uncommon)
IF INFECTION SPREADS FROM CERVIX TO FALLOPIAN TUBE:
Lower abdominal pain.
Low back pain.
Nausea
Fever
Pain during intercourse
Bleeding between menstrual periods
PERMANENT DAMAGE
Infertility
Ectopic pregnancy
IF INFECTION SPREADS TO EPIDIDYMIS
Pain
Fever
Sterility(rarely)
CHLAMYDIAL INFECTION OF THE RECTUM(THROUGH ORAL SEX)

Discharge
Bleeding
Can be found in the throats of men and women having oral sex with an infected partner.
